Rann-Thanagar Holy War v.1 -- The big one this week. Initially I had passed on buying R-THW in singles because I was going to wait for the collected edition, but it turns out it was cheaper to buy the singles anyway. Oh well. There's mixed feelings about this story online, but I really enjoyed the heck out of it. This first volume also includes the Hawkman Special, which is the source of much consternation and speculation around these parts.
Trinity #51 -- Just two more issues! Wow!

I am curious as to what kind of role the Hawks will seem to play in Blackest Night. I hope it more than just a cameo appearance.
Big Dog Danny D seems to imply that they will have a pretty important role, and then did pop up in the #0 issue as well. I think Geoff Johns said about the same over on CBR.
Also interesting to me regarding the Hawkman Special, Blackest Night, et al, is that in Wednesday Comics it seems that Hawkman will be Katar Hol, Space Cop. Hmmmm.
The Wednesday Comics don't have anything to do with continuity of the DC universe.
I know that, BUT, DiDio is always talking about the "most recognizable" version of their characters, and for Hawkman, that would appear to Katar Hol. It may not be in continuity, but it may be indicitive of something grander.
