Hawkman Families: Sharon Parker of Hawkworld

If you have read the last two of these entries, you might be able to guess who is next...

"Sharon Parker lived a pretty normal life until she met Carter Hall Jr, who at the time she didn't know was really a secret agent from Thanagar named Fel Andar. Sharon didn't know until Fel Andar was called back home, but she went with him knowing she loved him and would give up everything to be with him. Leaving their son with family planning on returning, not knowing that Fel Andar was sentenced to never leave the Planet Thanagar again."

Poor Sharon doesn't even merit a code name. If you have Fel Andar and Golden Eagle you kind of have to have Sharon, although in an animated setting it does give Shiera someone else to fight, which is nice. But I have gone on at length about trying to shoehorn the retcon characters into something streamlined and don't feel the need to repeat myself...

I like her colors though, despite the potential Christmas connotation from the mixture of green and red.

Be sure to check out the other Families posts!

Sharon Parker is rather unnecessary as a continuing character once she births Golden Eagle. This is especially true when you factor in her confusing resemblance to Hawkwoman, a character already plagued with variances/clones. I like the simplicity of this suit though, and would hand it off to one of the femmes previously featured.

@Frank, the only way I think the whole Fel-Sharon thing could work would be to have an extended storyline where Carter and Shiera are off-planet, then have them return home to find a "new" Hawkman and Hawkwoman in Midway City. That's just me though.

@Sean, Thanks for the kind words. I got the email about your site and can't wait to check it out. Pig Iron rules!
