Waiting In The Wings -- 4/14/2010
There's only one Hawk-related comic on the shelves this week, but it's kind of a big deal. Brightest Day #0 -- The resurrected heroes (and villians) from the pages of Blackest Night #8 begin their adventure here. We have been told that they were brought back "for a reason," and this Hawkfan (along with being an Aquafan, and a member of the M.M. Club) is especially eager to get a glimpse at that reason. Clearly there is a plan in place for these characters and its enough to get me to finally bite on one of these "maxi" series from DC. Even if it is only Hawkman, Hawkgirl/woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, The Atom, and Deadman having adventures, that seems like it would be worth the cost of admission -- but I imagine it will be much more than that!

You know I thought about mentioning ole Matchhead. But honestly, I have never bought a Firestorm comic!
Just for that I'm getting rid of my Hawkworld books. =P

Noooooooooooo!
Would it make any difference if I told you that I do own a couple of issues of Firestorm -- doubles which Adama bought by accident!
You start putting those Firestorm issues under your pillow at night so you can absorb the goodness via osmosis, then maybe I'll consider keeping my Hawkworld issues. Maybe.
